Needs analysis

On our first consultation with the client we will ask project specific questions in order to compile a detailed list of the client’s needs.Contact details of other stakeholders in the project will be gathered in order to set up meetings to obtain all relevant information to the project.

Topographical survey

Real-time kinematic global positioning systems (RTK GPS) with 5mm accuracy is used to conduct detailed topographical surveys of the area to be planned.We will always spend sufficient time on the survey because accuracy is not negotiable.   We emphasize the fact that the accuracy of the project planning is dependent on the accuracy of the topographical survey.

Crop water relationships and climate

A thorough investigation on the specific crop factor, climate conditions and water availability and quality will be done and discussed with all relevant stakeholders.A water balance will be drawn up from this information.

Irrigation design

With the planning done, we will start off with the design of the irrigation system.  We follow a systematic sequence in order to put a design on the table which will be able to supply water according to the specific crop’s need.

Drawings and installation plans

We have a qualified in-house draftsman who does all project drawings and installation plans to the highest standard.
